Group Finance & Regulatory Reporting

Your Tasks

  • Advice and support: Advising local VIG companies on IFRS issues and special topics to ensure that they are always up to date
  • Proactive IFRS development: Active monitoring and proactivity in the implementation of IFRS changes throughout the entire insurance group to ensure agile adaptation to new standards
  • IFRS know-how: Development of and information gathering on the new Standard 17 as a point of contact to ensure that all relevant departments are informed and prepared accordingly
  • Governance Excellence: Ongoing development and updating of internal governance documents to ensure the highest quality standards in relation to IFRS
  • ESG Reporting: Assuming responsibility for ESG reporting in the annual report and working closely with the ESRS team to ensure a coherent and meaningful presentation
  • Project management in IFRS: Active participation in internal and international IFRS projects to strengthen the insurance group's position as an innovator in the industry
  • Documentation: Professional preparation of comprehensive documentation and creation of ad-hoc reports to ensure clear and transparent communication

Your Profile

  • Completed studies, preferably with a focus on accounting or corporate accounting & auditing
  • Several years of relevant professional experience in a comparable position with very good accounting skills
  • Relevant IFRS qualification desirable (e.g. Certified IFRS Accountant), SAP knowledge an advantage
  • Open-minded personality and joy working in a team
  • Affinity for numbers and analytical thinking, solution-oriented way of working
  • Very good knowledge of German, business fluent in English

Based on the legal requirements, we inform about the yearly minimum salary according to the collective agreement of roughly EUR 45 000 gross on the basis of full-time employment (37.5 hours / week). Of course, the remuneration package is market-compliant. It is important to us that your salary is based on your qualifications and experience, therefore we will discuss the salary together in a personal interview.
